Cutting of a Tree and a Giant Book

Today, online classes started at 9 am. So, I had decided to wake at 7.30 am, just one and a half hours before work. However, I was beaten by my lethargy, which made my morning fifteen minutes late. It was 7.45 when I started my workout. When the clock struck eight, I fiddled with the tiny mobile phone of Dadiji and set the alarm for 8.15 am. Why? Because I love to cycle in the morning for full fifteen minutes. I take my cycle out of the street and steer it to the right to reach the end of the road. The deeper you go there, the more view you will get of a modern village. It is the Harsh Vihar Village. Fewer trees and more buildings---more automobiles than domestic animals.

My Cycle

Tringgg...Tringgg! I returned home at the order of the alarm. Brushing my teeth, I rushed to the bathroom and came out with a fresh and cool body. I was having a breakfast of Cheela when I realised it was time for class! A very significant thing I want to tell that it was the English session today when I got motivated to write Diary Entries! This blog is the result of this motivation. At 1 pm, there was a spelling competition held on an online quiz platform. I scored 18 out of 20. One question I got wrong, put me in a funny argument with my English teacher, "Is Goole an English word?" When it was all over, I had my lunch until 2 pm, when I began doing my homework. This is my daily routine. I study each subject for fifty minutes, with ten-ten-minute breaks. This goes on till 6 pm and then I water the plants of my neighbour from the terrace because Auntiji had gone to her village.

The unfortunate tree that was cut by a selfish person

Today I was angry with the person, whosoever he is, who had cut almost half of the lush green tree that stands in front of our house. I still feel bad for its shadow-giving capability has been reduced and what about his pain? Who cares? I came to know that the person had ruined the tree for his own benefit—it would become a hurdle when his big car passed underneath it. How selfish! He could have just removed the small part of the tree, which caused him trouble---why the full half of the tree?

The Giant Book which contained designs for furniture

Anyway, after watering the plants, I took my cycle again to ride on in the street. Aarav, my small buddy, was requesting me to play with him! I tried to say no, but I gave up in front of his obstinance. So I decided to play badminton with him. Both of us hit 75 consecutive shots! And we hope to do more tomorrow. When I arrived home, I was shocked to see Father, flipping through the pages of a huge book--even thicker than 5 sandwiches! I saw that it contained preview images for door designs. I am excited that which design will they choose?
